Memories of Dah-Miin

Dah-Miin had a joy for life and as importantly she brought joy to life. She was a kind, considerate, caring, generous, humble, intelligent lady. I learned many new things about Dah-Miin's life today. Her brother shared her early life with us. She was an outstanding athlete & scholar graduating in the top of her class and of course a wonderful daughter and sister. She proudly wore many titles in her life. Daughter Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend & she excelled at all of these titles. What I'll remember most about Dah-Miin:

- her ability to listen. When she was with you she was always interested in you. Her focus was on your family, your health. Dah-Miin was sincerely interested in knowing about others.

- her joy when speaking about her family and the quality time they all spent together.

- teasing her and Jian that it must be the water at their house that is the reason their children as so smart. Sharon with 2 Ivy league degrees. Undergrad from University of Pennslyvania and Masters from Columbia. Most families would be thrilled with one Ivy League degree. Of course Byron, also brilliant, graduating from MIT.

- I'll always remember her smile and laugh, they were contagious.

The sadness we feel today is because of all the love we shared these many years. The only way to not have this pain, this incredible sense of loss, is to never to have known Dah-Miin. Would any of us trade this pain by not ever having Dah-Miin in our lives? To Jian, Sharon, Byron, thank you for sharing this wonderful women with us these many years. As long as we have our memories we will alway have Dah-Miin with us.
